I’m a PHP developer based out of Vadodara, India. Now living in Parlin, New Jersey and working in New York with NYTimes.com as WordPress/Blogs Developer. I’m also into front-end development, which I do primarily using jQuery. I have also earned two publishers award from The New York Times for Lens Blog and beta620.
I’m 29, Indian, and I’ve been working in web development for about six years now and WordPress development for more than 4 years. I’m completely self-taught.
After B.Sc. Information Science, I was still very motivated to continue learning about what interested me the most. Because of this thirst to pursue my learning experience I enrolled into ISTAR (Institute of Science and Technology for Advanced studies and Research) in 2002 to start my Masters that touched both IT and Management.
I am someone that is very perseverant and always want to surpass my own knowledge by pushing forward in the projects I undertake.
I consider myself a simple person that likes simple stuff. When I am not behind a computer monitor, I enjoy playing sports, listening to music, playing video games and watching Cricket. Cricket is the game I would like to watch all day long and Sachin Tendulkar is my favorite cricket player. After coming here (USA), I’ve become a big fan of Baseball game and follow Yankees. I claimed Rookie of the Year, and Most Valuable Player title for NYTD Softball 2010.
Finally, I love traveling, sadly due to my work I haven’t found time yet to do so but I try to visit India every year.
